Student Engagement
Your college life at the Berg will be as diverse and exciting as you want it to be by getting involved with the many opportunities that our office has to offer.
Student Engagement

The Office of Student Engagement provides a meaningful education and out-of-class experience for students through a variety of unique programs, services, and activities where the campus community can interact with others, leading to a life of purpose with distinction.

Information for Heidelberg Student Leaders!

The student organization meeting and event operation guidelines have been updated for Spring 2022. Read the full Student Life Health and Safety Plan here!

Student Organization Events

Student Organizations are no longer required to submit a safety plan for events! However, we encourage you to work closely with your advisor to plan safe events.

For all events, your first step is to complete the Ad Astra request. Events can only take place in a space large enough to accommodate the event at the campus’s current capacity limits, which is 3’ physical distancing. Groups are no longer restricted to once monthly events.

Student organizations are welcome to have outside guests at their events, provided that all guests complete the online Health Evaluation Form every time they are on campus.

Don’t forget to advertise your event on Inside here!

Student Organization Meetings

Student organizations are no longer required to submit a safety plan via Google Forms to the Office of Student Engagement to host an in-person meeting. Your first step in hosting an in-person meeting is to complete the Ad Astra request.

Meetings can only take place in a room large enough to accommodate your group at the campus’s current capacity limits, which is 3’ physical distancing. Groups are no longer restricted to once monthly meetings.
