Black Heritage Library Trip

The Office of Multicultural Student Affairs and the Black Heritage Library & Multicultural Center invite you to come view this documentary based on the true story of a 1964 voter registration drive in which a large group of college-aged civil rights workers organized and descended on the state of Mississippi in what became known as “Freedom Summer.” Aimed at increasing black voter registration in Mississippi, the Freedom Summer workers included black Mississippians and more than 1,000 out-of-state, predominately white volunteers.

Depart from the Ubuntu House at 5 p.m.

RSVP by Monday, Feb. 26.
