Supplemental Instruction (SI) support promotes student-centered learning through small-group study and review sessions! SI support is provided for high-risk, gateway, and challenging courses at Heidelberg.
At SI Sessions, SI Leaders provide learning assistance and strategies to increase student confidence and academic success. SI Leaders also work closely with faculty teaching supported courses in order to streamline the academic support process.

All the time! SI is designed to help all students review and find new approaches to complex course material, so all students can benefit. Studies show that when students visit more SI Sessions, they are more confident with the material and more likely to attain higher course grades.
Consider meeting with an Academic Coach to address academic success skills, and think about attending our ongoing academic coaching events (such as Peer Connect Working Group or Small Group Academic Coaching). You can also meet with the Academic Support Coordinator to discuss your course-specific concerns and explore other support options.
