Title IX and sexual misconduct student forum

The student community is invited and encouraged to attend an important campus dialogue about Sexual Misconduct and Title IX policy and process at Heidelberg University.  A Campus Forum event will convene a panel of University officials to share important information, explain policy and process about Title IX reporting, to address student questions, as well as to engage in an open exchange with students about how sexual misconduct is addressed and discussed on campus.  Our goal is to be a safe and secure community for everyone.

The first student Campus Forum was held earlier this week.  The second Campus Forum will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in Herbster Chapel from 7p – 8:30p.  The Campus Forum will be moderated by Dr. Blake Grangaard, Professor of Religion.

Panel members include:

Rob Huntington, President
Chris Abrams, Dean of Student Affairs
Margaret Rudolph, CHRO & Title IX Coordinator
Jeff Rhoades, Director of Campus Safety & Lead Title IX Investigator

So as to encourage an open and free dialogue and not inhibit participation, filming and/or live streaming is prohibited during the Campus Forum.  Faculty and staff are welcome to attend the student forums; however, the question and answer period will be reserved for students.  A faculty and staff discussion has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 4:00p.

Please consider this important Campus Forum for meaningful dialogue regarding sexual misconduct and Title IX and how we can work together in our community.

Sincerely & Respectfully,

Rob Huntington, President
Margaret Rudolph, CHRO & Title IX Coordinator
Allison Burd, Student Senate President
