Faculty Pursuits: Week of Jan. 19, 2026

Dr. Carol Dusdieker (music/soprano) will perform as a guest artist at the University of Montevallo Department of Music in Montevallo, Alabama, on Tuesday, January 27.

The guest recital also features Montevallo alumna Leslie McCage Simmons on Clarinet and former Professor of Music Anthony Pattin on piano.

The program, titled Der Hirt auf dem Felsen (The Shepherd on the Rock) by Elisabeth Schumann, features works by Schubert, Strauss, Debussy, Chopin and Gershwin.
