Speech Team victorious

Heidelberg’s Speech Team found success again as they recently competed in two different tournaments.

Finding victories at Ohio University’s Interstate Tournament were Hannah Petitti, who placed first in Extemporaneous Speaking and second in Informative Speaking and Justin Mourguet who won second place in Extemporaneous Speaking and fourth place in Impromptu Speaking.

Team Heidelberg combined their efforts to win the first place team trophy.

Winning trophies at Ohio Forensic Association State Novice Tournament were Katie Bauman, who placed second in Persuasive Speaking and Ashlee Beaver who placed third in Prose Interpretation.

As a team, Heidelberg took home the third place trophy.
