Academic powerhouse: ’Berg lands 60 All-OAC honorees in stellar fall season
WESTERVILLE – After a strong fall campaign in the classroom, 60 Heidelberg student-athletes were named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference recipients on Friday. The 60 honorees were the second most in any single season for Heidelberg.
To earn Academic All-OAC honors, a student-athlete must earn a 3.495+ cumulative grade point average through the semester completed prior to the start of the season. Additionally, individuals must be varsity players. First-year students are not eligible for the award.
Football led the way with 17 honorees, while Women's Soccer paced all women's teams with 15 honorees.
