Frann’s Fieldhouse set to host biggest wrestling weekend in ’Berg history

Frann’s Fieldhouse is about to become electric. This weekend, an estimated 1,500 fans will pack the new facility as Heidelberg hosts the Berg Holiday Wrestling Duals, the largest wrestling event in HU’s history.

It’s the first major competition inside Frann’s Fieldhouse since its grand opening in early October, and it will put all 12 mats – and plenty of wrestling talent – to the test. Over three days, more than 20 collegiate programs and hundreds of wrestlers will compete in a full slate of events beginning Friday and running through Sunday.

Friday night kicks off with the WAR Rookie Wrestling event. On Saturday, Heidelberg’s men’s and women’s teams take their turn in the spotlight during the collegiate duals. The action continues Sunday as Heidelberg welcomes the Ohio Athletic Committee Grade School State Duals.

Tickets: Ages 18–64: $12 · Ages 12–17 and 65+: $8 · Ages 11 and under: Free.

A limited number of bleacher seats will be available near each mat; fans are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for additional seating.
