MAC student Erin Thomson, BA '16, and Dr. Ginny Gregg (psychology) recently returned from presenting their research, An Analysis of Features in Transgender Film Portrayals Using a Revised Vito Russo Test, at the Popular Culture Association/American Culture Association Conference in San Diego.

On April 8, Dr. Emily Isaacson (English, Honors) presented her paper, '[V]olumes that / I prize above my dukedom': The Archive, Digital Projects, and the Democratization of Knowledge Creation at the 45th annual meeting of the Shakespeare Association of America in Atlanta, GA.

Rebecca Neal (Student Affairs) presented at the 2017 American College Counseling Association National Conference in Tampa, Fla., on the topic of creating a more inclusive and accessible culture and community within higher education for older, non-traditional students. Dr. Marjorie Shavers served as her faculty mentor and her presentation was well-received and elicited much discussion.
