Faculty research takes center stage

Dr. Carol Dusdieker presents Embracing the Growth Mindset: Pre- and Post-Testing in Vocal Diction.

Twenty faculty members presented their research Thursday at the 23rd annual Faculty Research Symposium Thursday in Adams Hall. The event is a platform to share ongoing research with colleagues and demonstrate and model presentation techniques for students. A total of 13 disciplines were represented, including English, music, chemistry, communication, business, philosophy, education, counseling, religion, political science, biology, psychology and geology.

Presenters included: Dr. Emily Isaacson, Dr. Carol Dusdieker, Dr. Aaron Roerdink, Dr. Nate Beres, Mary Garrison, Dr. Helana Theixos, Chris Wimer, Dr. Daryl Close, Dr. Stacey Pistorova, Dr. Lindsay Haubert, Dr. Justin Pruneski, Dr. Michele Castleman, Dr. Marjorie Shavers, Dr. Blake Grangaard, Dr. Marc O'Reilly, Dr. Robert Chidester, Dr. Peter Martini, Dr. Mark Mitchell, Dr. Diane Monaco and Dr. Maef Woods. Maef was the symposium organizer.
