Natalie Arnold wins Berg-Falcon accounting scholarship

Natalie Arnold knows where she'll be in the fall: at Bowling Green State University, taking the next step toward a professional career in accounting.

Congratulations to graduating senior Natalie Arnold, an accounting and business administration double major, who is the 2019 recipient of the Berg-Falcon Master of Accountancy Scholarship. The announcement was made by Interim Dean Dr. Bruce Murphy.

Natalie is a member of the Dean’s Student Advisory Board and has been a multi-year volunteer with Junior Achievement in the Tiffin City Schools. She has competed in the intercollegiate management case competitions and has served as a mentor for Heidelberg’s HYPE Career Ready® Program. Last summer, she completed a finance and accounting internship and will have an auditing internship this summer.

The Berg-Falcon Accountancy Scholarship is a partnership between the School of Business, Computer Science & Information Technology at Heidelberg and the College of Business at Bowling Green State University. It is designed to recruit the best and brightest accounting students who want to take the next step toward a successful professional career in accounting. Students who have received their undergraduate degree in accounting from Heidelberg are considered for the scholarship.

Through the program, Heidelberg accounting students take an additional 30 semester hours of coursework to meet the 150-hour requirement to sit for the CPA exam through BGSU’s Master of Accountancy program, which meets the Ohio State Board of Accountancy requirements for obtaining the CPA designation.

Congratulations, Natalie!
