Awareness Table with Berg Allies and Center for Survivor Empowerment

Berg Allies and the Center for Survivor Empowerment are teaming up to educate the campus about Intersex and Trans issues when it comes to dating violence and domestic abuse issues as well as hand out information for resources, further education, sexual health tools, and trans solidarity ribbons. We will also be raffling off an exclusive, secret item to raise money for the National Center for Transgender Equality!

The organizations will host an awareness table inside The HeidelBean! Wednesday, Nov. 9, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., during Transgender Awareness Week and between Intersex Remembrance Day and Transgender Remembrance Day. The goal is to spread awareness about dating violence inequity for the trans/intersex community, educate the campus about the issue and show solidarity.

Girl Power Leadership Seminar

In honor of National Girls and Women in Sports Day, all female students are invited to join us for a celebration of women, networking and empowerment! Participants will receive a limited edition Girl Power T-shirt. Speakers and guests range from the OAC commissioner to local entrepreneurs and championship-winning alumni to women who made their own path.
