Heidelberg students who have returned to Heidelberg University after 5 years from a past attendance are eligible for the Academic Fresh Start policy, when applicable. Read the full policy in the Academic Catalog.

Formal Request

Write a formal request, to be reviewed by the Provost, to participate in Academic Fresh Start- include the benefits of participation.

Summary of Events

Provide a summary of events supporting the academic record during the initial attendance. Include supporting items that may have contributed to the academic challenges (personal, emotional, medical, financial- supporting documents may be requested).

Faculty Member

List a faculty member who has agreed to provide a letter of support for participation in Academic Fresh Start. The letter will be sent to registrar@heidelberg.edu.

Employer(s)

List an employer(s) who may be willing to write a statement of personal or professional growth since the time departed from Heidelberg. The letter will be sent to registrar@heidelberg.edu.
