Alternative Break student registration open
Students are invited to sign up for trips for the week of Spring Break. Here are the following trips, their cost, and the contact persons. Alternative Break Trips bring students from all backgrounds to join in service. Thanks to grants from Student Senate and the Student Community Service Fund the cost is cut in half.
Big Oaks Rescue Farm in South Carolina. Service to a variety of animals. Trip includes a side trip to Knoxville, Tennessee, on the way. Cost is $190. Three spots are available. Student Coordinator is Sydney McCoy. Contact her at smccoy1@heidelberg.edu
Habitat for Humanity in Kentucky. Work on home construction to support individuals and families buying homes. Side trips to Louisville and Mammoth Caves. Cost is $90. Two spots are available. Student Coordinator is Chase Morrison. Contact him at cmorris1@heidelberg.edu
Back Bay Mission in Biloxi, Mississippi. Service to homeless veterans and those with housing and food insecurity. Side trip to Lynching Museum in Montgomery, AL and trip to New Orleans. Cost is $200.
