Speech Team is victorious

Heidelberg's Speech Team is at it once again. On January 30th the novice squad competed at the Novice State Championship and brought home a team 2nd place award. Individual honors went to Crimson Stuckert who placed 2nd in persuasive speaking and Julia Schaefer, Olivia Bean and Stefania Fiume who placed 2nd, 4th and 6th in informative speaking.

Not to be outdone, the varsity team shined at the Ohio University tournament held on the same day. Katie Bauman was the tournament champion in persuasive speaking and placed 3rd in Rhetorical Criticism. McCartney Betz placed 5th in After Dinner Speaking.
