Tri-Alpha Honor Society seeking new members

The Tri-Alpha National Honor Society is looking to recruit new members! The Tri-Alpha Society is a fairly new group at Heidelberg, committed to providing support to first-college generation students. Members are recognized for their academic excellence and work as a campus-wide community to serve the needs and challenges of first-generation students. To qualify, students must have completed 30 credit hours, and neither parent/legal guardians have completed a college degree. There are also officer positions available for next year to those members who would like to run for office.

Alumni who are first-gen students also are eligible to join.

It's Heidelberg Homecoming! Homecoming is a weeklong celebration of events where students and alumni together honor their Sweet Alma Home. Starting Friday, September 24, students can nominate an outstanding Heidelberg senior to Homecoming Court.

The next deadline for grants from the Pepsi Fund and the Martha and Ernest Hammel Student Research Fund to support student research and/or travel to professional conferences is October 1, 2021.
