Speech Team shines at state championship

Congratulations go out to Heidelberg's Speech Team which placed 2nd in the President's Division this past weekend at the Ohio Forensic Association's State Championship Tournament!

Students earning individual trophies were McCartney Betz, who placed 5th in Broadcasting and 6th in Programmed Oral Interpretation; Kelsey Stanfield, who placed 3rd in Persuasive Speaking and 4th in Broadcasting; and Julia Schaefer who placed 6th in Broadcasting. The team continues to polish their presentations as they prepare for the Pi Kappa Delta National Tournament and Convention in Orlando, Florida March 9-12.
