Online Summer Courses Offered

Dr. Nancy El Gendy is offering two, three-credit-hour Gen Ed summer school courses from May 26-June 29:

WRI 101: Through a variety of fun activities, this course will introduce you to college-level prose writing, research, and argumentation. There is no required textbook; I will provide you with all the materials online. In this course, you will write a personal narrative, a persuasive essay on film, and a research paper on a topic of your own choice

LIT 102, Literary Genre: This online course is an introduction to three of the broad literary genres: stories, poems, and plays. I will walk you through all the steps of reading literature and writing on literature. We are also going to examine songs, music, and other interesting YouTube videos that relate to the topics we discuss.

Students, consider signing up for these courses during registration.
