Fold a paper crane for Tiffin4Peace and the Office of Civic Engagement

The 1,000 Crane Project -- a tradition of Japan in which if a person made a 1,000 cranes, he/she could have any wish they wanted.

Tiffin is being challenged to make 1,000 cranes and put them into the Peace Box enclosed in the Peace Pole in front of the Justice Center in downtown Tiffin (Sunday night Sept. 15-Sept 30). Sept. 21 is International Peace Day.

A table is available outside of the Owen Academic and Career Support Center where you can fold a peace crane. Or, visit the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library on Sept. 19, 20, or 21 to make a peace crane. Student organizations and athletic teams are also invited to make peace cranes and take them to the display at the Justice Center. Supplies are available in Campus Center 306.
