Walk a Mile in Her Shoes coming Oct. 11

Walk A Mile is an event geared toward raising sexual assault and domestic violence awareness for all audiences. It is a walk along campus with a discussion around bystander intervention and situational awareness. This year's event will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 11.

Registration begins at 6 p.m. at the Legacy Patio where student groups will provide sexual assault and domestic violence awareness information along with resource information. The walk (heels optional) begins at 6:30 p.m. and will proceed along the Campus Center lawn. Student groups will present open discussions regarding specific scenarios around the topic of consent and healthy relationships. All are welcome.
