Passing of Dr. Kate Bradie, former philosophy professor

We were saddened to learn late last week of the passing of former 'Berg professor Dr. Kate Bradie. Kate died on Monday, Oct. 26, 2020, following a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Kate taught at Heidelberg for 15 years in the Religion & Philosophy Department, beginning in the mid-'90s and through the 2000s. In 2010, she was the recipient of the Jane Frost Kalnow Professorship in the Humanities. She was a favorite professor among her students.
We extend our most sincere sympathy to her surviving family members and friends, including husband Michael, sons Jeff Hicks and Tim Hicks, three grandchildren and four siblings.
