Students: FINANCIAL AID AWARDS FOR 2021-22

Financial aid awards will be available online beginning in March. You will be notified through your Heidelberg email address when your award is available to view in your OASIS account. Navigation instructions will be included in the email. The Tuition Payment Plan will be an attachment in the same email and one copy will also be mailed home. This plan must be printed, signed and returned to indicate how you will make your payment. We will release financial aid awards for those students who have complete files and have no Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) issues. Before any financial aid awards will be official, we will review grades and hours passed for SAP in May following spring semester.

Payment Plans

  • Tuition Payment Plans will be emailed to both your Heidelberg email as well as the parent’s email listed on the FAFSA.
  • This plan MUST be signed and returned indicating by July 15 your payment arrangement.
  • First cash payments are due August 1. Loans will be disbursed August 20, 2021.

Satisfactory Academic Progress

Students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) as mandated by the federal government. Students must pass 67% of their total hours attempted and maintain a 2.0 minimum GPA by the end of their sophomore year. Please refer to the University Catalog or at inside.heidelberg.edu/ offices/financial-aid. Be aware of your own progress.

Special Conditions

If your family has unusual circumstances that should be taken into account, please contact our office directly. We have a Special Conditions Form available on the Heidelberg Financial Aid website that can be completed and returned to the Financial Aid Office. Examples of special circumstances include unusual medical expenses, death, divorce or reduction of income from last year to this year due to job changes or unemployment.
