R.I.S.E. Mentor Program

The Reaffirming Identity through Scholarly Enrichment mentoring programs provides support to 1st year domestic students of color (Asian, Hispanic, Black, American Indian/Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, and Multiracial). Ubuntu House

The Ubuntu Black Cultural House was established in Fall 2017 and serves as a meeting and social space for African American students. The house offers living space to individuals who are passionate about providing social and educational programming, with a focus on the Black identity to the campus community. The house is open to all students Monday-Thursday 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Friday 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m., and during special events. Ubuntu means, “I am; because of you.”
