Welcome back, Students ... and bring on Winterfest!

The Berg Event Council is hosting the annual Winterfest, “three days of fun” to kick off the new year and welcome Heidelberg students back to campus the weekend of Jan. 17-19. Winterfest is one of the designated 175th Anniversary events for Heidelberg in 2025.

Mark your calendars and plan to check out one of the fun Winterfest events:

Not Your Mama’s Game Night - Friday, January 17 - Commons - 6 pm
Start Winterfest with a night of friendly competition at “Not Your Mama’s Game Night” in University Commons! Join your classmates for loads of games, including bingo, and enjoy free mocktails or cocktails (21+ with a valid ID) and snacks. Don’t forget to grab a Winterfest shirt as a keepsake, you didn’t truly attend Winterfest if you leave without one!

Winterfest Court - Saturday, January 18 - Seiberling Gym Lobby - 2:30-3:30 pm
Cheer on the men’s and women’s basketball teams as they face Wilmington! Between the games, the Berg Event Council will be handing out spirit swag to keep the energy high. Be sure to show your support!

Arctic Arcade - Sunday, January 19 - Seiberling Gym - 2 pm 
Wrap up Winterfest with the ever-popular Arctic Arcade! The gym will be transformed and filled with arcade games, roller skating, and stuffed animals galore. It’s the perfect way to end the weekend on a high note. Don’t miss it!
