PURSUITS: Week of Jan. 9, 2017
Dr. Laura Johnson (NCWQR) has contributed to an article that is to be published in the Journal of Environmental Quality. The paper, titled Increased Soluble Phosphorus Loads to Lake Erie: Unintended Consequences of Conservation Practices? is part of research conducted by the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology. Dr. David Baker, director emeritus, also contributed to the paper.
Dr. Daryl Close, (computer science and philosophy) will present the faculty development keynote address at Aurora University, Aurora, Ill., on Jan. 26. Daryl's topic is Fair Grades. The presentation will include a faculty workshop based on his paper of the same title, which was awarded the 2010 Mark Lenssen Prize for Publishing on Teaching Philosophy.
