Speech Team 2nd at state championship
Heidelberg’s Speech Team won second place at the Ohio Forensic Association’s State Championship Tournament held at BGSU on Feb, 16-17.
Special congratulations to state champion Hannah Pettiti, who earned first place in Extemporaneous Speaking, fifth place in Rhetorical Criticism and sixth place in Informative Speaking. Katie Bauman won fifth place in Persuasive Speaking and Justin Mourguet won sixth place in Extemporaneous Speaking.
Congratulations to the entire team and Coach Dan Higgins on a fine competitive season.
