Roth Named OAC Wrestler of the Year

After an outstanding 2018-19 season, the Heidelberg wrestling team welcomed the postseason conference recognition for two wrestlers.

Junior Dylan Roth was named the John Summa Wrestler of the Year en route to an All-Conference first-team honor, while senior Tyler Hammack joined him as a first-team All-OAC selection.

Dylan is Heidelberg's first Wrestler of the Year winner since All-American Justin Kihn took home the award in 2016. He is the fourth Berg wrestler to be tabbed with the conference's highest honor, while current head coach Tony Patrizi and 2006 National Champion Joe Pflug were also presented with the award.

Tyler repeats as a first-team honoree after also taking home the award in 2017.
