Students show gratitude to donors

Students sign a large banner to say thanks to HU donors.

The Commons and social media were buzzing with energy and activity Thursday for the fifth annual TAG Day. Throughout the day, students who have received financial assistance through named scholarship stopped by to write personal thank-you notes to their scholarship donors. Students also signed more than 3,000 thank-you cards to general donors as expressions of gratitude for their generous support of Heidelberg. TAG Day, short for Thank a Giver Day, is part of National Student Philanthropy Day. The Student Alumni Association helped lead the day's events, coordinated by the Office of Alumni Engagement.
