PALS to welcome former Merck, marketing exec

Bridgette Heller

RSVPs are now open for the spring Patricia Adams Lecture Series. On Thursday, April 7, we have the pleasure of welcoming Bridgette Heller, former executive vice president of Merck and Co. and president its Consumer Care segment. While with Merck, Ms. Heller led a workforce of 2,400 employees generating revenues of more than $2 billion and strong profit margins.

Prior to joining Merck, Heller worked for Johnson & Johnson and also served as a consultant, providing consumer-centric growth strategies for companies outside the traditional consumer packaged goods arena. She spent her early career with Kraft Foods in marketing and general management. Heller serves on the board of ADT Corp. and has an extensive record of not-for-profit service, including Girls Inc. She is the recipient of the Healthcare Business Women’s Association 2013 Woman of the Year Award.

During her time on campus, Heller will meet in various settings with students and the campus community, including two open forums on the topics of Writing Your Personal Mission Statement and Resume Writing and Your Brand. She will deliver her keynote address, Power and its Relationship to Leading a Purposeful Life, as part of the dinner, which begins at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 7, in Seiberling Gymnasium.

All Heidelberg University faculty and staff are invited to attend the dinner and keynote. The cost for those who choose the vegetarian or the chicken option will be $15. The cost for those who choose the filet mignon option will be $25.

Reservations are needed by Thursday, March 31, and can be made online. A reception and cash bar will be held prior to the dinner, beginning at 5:45 p.m.

Here is a complete schedule for the spring PALS event.
