Mary Milazzo (Registrar's Office) recently accompanied New Riegel School's band and choir on a trip to Chicago. There was a strong 'Berg alumni contingent among the group, including Mary, '91, and another mom/chaperone, Pamela Tiell, '92. New Riegel's choir director is Michael Frankart, '04 and '15, and the band director is Nikkole (Malone) Kleba, '11. The students performed in Michigan City, Ind., for Derek Meilander's seventh- and eighth-graders at Barker Middle School. Derek is an '07 grad and has worked on his master's in music education at the Berg.

Cynthia Suter (Registrar's Office) is one of a handful of authors in a publication released by the Association of College Registrars and Admission Officers. The AACRAO Guide to Graduation Ceremonies discusses the many facets of graduation planning. Cindy wrote a chapter addressing Diploma Vendor Selection. During the past couple of years, the office researched vendors to meet the needs of quality assurance as well as ways to save costs for the institution. She will also participate on a panel discussion at the AACRAO Annual Conference April 2-5 in Minneapolis.
