Students put new STNA licenses to work

'Berg students practice their skills during orientation at Autumnwood Care Center.

While most students were wrapping up their holiday break in January. seven 'Berg students returned early to complete an intensive two-week course to become State Tested Nursing Assistants. The program, offered for the first time, partnered Heidelberg with Autumnwood Care Center, a local assisted living facility. All of the students passed their test and are now officially STNAs, eligible to work at Autumnwood and other facilities and more importantly, they got a jump on their careers or graduate study.
