Smiles all around as HU hosts annual Celebrity BB game

‘Berg Head Football Coach Scott Donaldson describes it as “the best night of the year.” Judging by the smiles and the friendly competition, he may be right. On Thursday night, Heidelberg hosted the annual Seneca County Opportunity Center Celebrity Basketball Game in Seiberling Gym. The game pitted the Seneca Arrows with ‘Berg student-athletes, faculty and staff, and local celebrities and like most years, the score ended with a tie. But everyone involved won, including the full house in Seiberling who cheered loudly and proudly for their favorite athletes.

This is the 15th year Heidelberg has hosted the game in honor of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. Former Head Football Coach Mike Hallett brought the game to Heidelberg’s campus back in 2008.
