Strong showing for Tau Pi Phi team

Heidelberg's Tau Pi Phi team of Austin Lepole, Sara Gebhardt, advisor Dr. Omar Malik and Ryan O'Neill.

The School of Business's Tau Pi Phi business and economics team competed at the annual two-day Harvard Case Analysis competition in Pittsburgh last weekend. Among the 10 teams, 'Berg's team of Austin Lepole, Sara Gebhardt and Ryan O'Neill brought a third place trophy back to campus -- a strong showing for HU in its first year in this competition which included Capital University, Wittenburg University, the University of Mount Union and Juniata College, among others.

On the first day of the competition, students received a business-related case study and were required to read and understand the case study, create an executive summary answering prompts and prepare a visual presentation within four hours. The 15-minute presentation was followed by a question-and-answer session. For the second day of the competition, a new case study was given for another question-and-answer session.

Congratulations to Heidelberg's team and advisor Dr. Omar Malik.
