English honorary welcomes new members

Five students and English professor Dr. Barry Devine were inducted into Sigma Tau Delta, the English honorary, Thursday night. The new inductees (L-R) are: Dr. Devine, Ethan Miller, Kate Mundy, Madison Crow, Alexandra Chakov and Carly Evans. The stately gentleman in the framed photo is Dr. Frederick Lemke, long-time English professor beloved by many students during his tenure at Heidelberg from 1933-74. Dr. Emily Isaacson noted that "We always take him with us to Sigma Tau Delta events." No doubt, he is looking down proudly on this year's class!
