A New Talent for His Repertoire

The Community Music School Youth Orchestra 2018 Showcase Concert Friday night had a special guest artist on stage.

President Rob Huntington was called out of the audience to perform on the violin. Here, Autumn Kehn, one of the high school student violinists, was kind enough to teach the president how to hold the violin without breaking it and to play one note -- perhaps a C or a D note -- repeatedly.

Intently focused, Orchestra Director Cassandra Bryant, who was responsible for bringing Rob to the stage, "directed" him by tapping his shoulder whenever his one note was needed.

"I really enjoyed the surprise and had lots of fun not botching up that note too much," Rob said.
