Seiberling work progressing on schedule

Currently, things are moving right along with the Seiberling Gymnasium renovation project. According to Rod Morrison, the work is on schedule. The current plan is to have the floor sanded and the 3-point areas stained no later than Monday, May 22. Depending on when the staining is completed, the lines and artwork will begin the following day and be completed by Friday, May 26.

The floor company anticipates applying the final coat of finish on Thursday, June 1, and the steel cove base will be re-installed on Monday, June 5. The floor will be allowed to dry and cure for several days before it becomes available for other work in the space to proceed including the installation of the new bleachers.
