The Heidelberg delegation that will spent a month teaching English at Tianjin Normal University departed campus this morning. Staff members Kayela Tidrick, Ronee Rice, Nikki DeFere and Julie Arnold are joined by students Allison Perry, Cole Hetman, Melodie Harnett and Nolan Miller, representing Heidelberg. Julie's son, Aaron, also is traveling with the group. Visiting TNU professor Wang Xi and her family are traveling with the group on their journey home after spending a year in Tiffin.
In honor of National Girls and Women in Sports Day, all female students are invited to join us for a celebration of women, networking and empowerment! Participants will receive a limited edition Girl Power T-shirt.
Speakers and guests range from the OAC commissioner to local entrepreneurs and championship-winning alumni to women who made their own path.
