Guten Tag, Tiffin!

'Berg students Katerina Baker, Emily Nolting, Jack Onderisin and Sarah Semer, along with instructor Christine Maiberger, in Heidelberg, Germany.

The 2016 Heidelberg Summer Program in German and European Studies is off to a good start. Among the 15 participants are four Heidelberg University students: Katerina Baker, Emily Nolting, Jack Onderisin and Sarah Semer. German instructor Christine Maiberger is in Heidelberg as well. She joined the summer program faculty and is teaching what she knows best – German! According to AJY Director Hanne Heckmann, "We are very glad to have her with us this summer." Also on staff, teaching and serving as academic coordinator for the summer program, is former 'Berg TA Florian Kastner.

The summer program in Heidelberg, Germany is part of the American Junior Year at Heidelberg University program. AJY would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation and to thank Trustee Andrew Kalnow wholeheartedly. Since the founding of the program in 2001, Mr. Kalnow’s generous support has enabled Heidelberg University students to spend six weeks in Heidelberg during the summer studying the German language, traveling through Germany and learning about history, politics and economics.
