A cross-country visit

Pam Faber with alum Dr. Ben Otten at his vet practice in California.

In late June and July, Dr. Pam Faber took a fun and fantastic 5,700-mile cross-country road trip that included visits with a number of Heidelberg alumni and two of her alma maters, Brigham Young University and Idaho State University to view their science labs and equipment. Along her travels, she stopped to visit with Dr. Ben Otten, '93, at his veterinary practice, All Creatures, in El Cerrito, Calif., near Berkeley, and also '57 alum Owen Ervin, a retired high school history teacher and former Excelsior Society member in the Denver area. Pam reports that she had such a good time that she might make the trek on alternate years and visit more alums.
