In June, Dr. Lisa Kahle-Piasecki (Marketing) presented the results of a gap analysis on the MBA curriculum at the annual Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Annual Conference in Chicago June 29-July 2. The joint study with Dr. Wendy Ziems-Mueller (BSBA 2000, MBA 2022) MBA Director at Mount Union University, examined the desired skills business leaders say are the most important for recent college graduates to possess in the workplace and what current MBA students perceive are the most important skills for them to possess for the workplace.

In July, her work was presented at an international conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, by co-author Dr. Matthew Bereza '98. The qualitative study, titled Coffee, Capitalism, and Social Justice, was presented under the Labor Markets, Education and Human Resources track at the Society for the Advancement of Socio-Economics Annual Conference.
