Dr. Marc O'Reilly (political science) is the co-author of a book chapter, titled Better Than Before: My Pedagogical Journey, in the recently published Pedagogical Journeys through World Politics (Palgrave Macmillan, 2019), edited by Jamie Frueh. Twenty-three professors of global politics contributed chapters to the book, which is meant to provide professional lessons and advice on teaching to graduate students and junior faculty.

Dr. Heleana Theixos (philosophy) has contributed a chapter to an academic textbook on various theories of Just Wars. Heleana's work looks at how conflicts are fought by average people in beyond-average circumstances, and that both victims and perpetrators deserve a compassionate analysis. Her chapter applies a feminist perspective to the ways in which certain perpetrators of wartime atrocity deserve -- within limits and guidelines -- moral concern for their reasoning, their well-being and also their re-integration into the moral community. The textbook is upcoming in Spring 2020. Here is a link to the publisher.
