... as Krammes crew stays busy with summer projects
Work has been completed on the most critical areas in need of repair on the Brenneman Music Hall façade. That’s just one of the many projects that kept the Krammes crew busy during the summer months.
With brick work on the front of Brenneman done, crews can now move on to repairs around the rest of the building that are less extensive, according to Rod Morrison.
Crews also completed the following projects in preparation for the new school year:
• Window repairs at Pfleiderer Center. The high wood was repaired, primed and painted as part of a several-phase project over the next couple of years.
• Painting of the high doors and wood on Founders Hall.
• Concrete and sidewalk repairs around campus. This project started last year and substantial progress was made this summer.
• King Residence Hall improvements to the interior and landscaping. With King West back on line this semester, carpet has been replaced with tile in all rooms, which also are furnished with new desk chairs and mattresses.
• A netting system has been installed at Riesen Field and Hidden Valley for lacrosse games and practices.
