Alternative Break trip an education of a different kind

Senior Penelope Christian – like many students who take a leap to study abroad – had a great experience when she traveled to Nicaragua through Outreach360 to volunteer on an Alternative Break trip in March 2018. She is hoping to start her own non-profit one day, so it was the perfect way to serve others, which is her life goal.

“It was an amazing experience,” Penelope said. “I went to educate the students but they don’t realize how much they’re educating us on humanity and life.”
