HYPE Career Ready's common bonds

First-year students hike through Old Man's Cave.

First-year and second-year students got their academic year rolling even before classes started this week, participating in HYPE Career Ready common experiences. Sunday morning, new students boarded seven buses and headed to Hocking Hills for two days of bonding and fun outdoor activities to launch their HYPE Career Ready journey. Returning sophomores participated in their HYPE common experience Sunday evening -- an etiquette dinner where they learned professional skills. They followed that with a presentation by Chipotle branding expert William Espey and an AIM Hei conference, also on Sunday and Monday.

Sandra Hyde provides basic etiquette training to second-year students.
