NCWQR hosts 50+ water quality partners on campus

The National Center for Water Quality Research (NCWQR) hosted the Western Lake Erie Basin Partnership meeting on campus on Tuesday, September 26. 

This partnership aims to improve communication and coordination among the multitude of state and federal agencies working on improving the health of the Western Lake Erie Basin. Over 50 attendees were present at the meeting coming primarily from the tri-state region of Ohio, Indiana, Michigan.

The Western Lake Erie Basin Partnership is a group led by John Wilson, Ohio NRCS State Conservationist; LTC Colby Krug USACE, Commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District; and Chris Korleski, director of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Great Lakes National Program Office.
