Five Heidelberg students who are majoring in the natural sciences -- Jessica Barnes, Melanie Cohn, Enya Granados, Judy Smith and Amanda Sugrue -- had unique off-campus academic experiences in which they conducted and presented their research through summer research programs. In their own words, the students describe their research projects, the outcomes and the impact on their classes and their future careers.
