Clear your head, calm your mind with Headspace

Stoner Health and Counseling Center is excited to announce that Heidelberg is now providing a free membership to Headspace for all students and employees! A calm, clear mind makes your day a little lighter, your focus a little sharper, and your relationships a little easier. That’s what you’ll find when you join over 50 million people practicing mindfulness and meditation with Headspace.

The Stoner counseling staff use mindfulness techniques on a regular basis to help students manage a variety of stressors.  Headspace will be great for our students to explore these strategies on their own and in the comfort of their own space. This will be a great asset for students to use when experiencing increased stress, increased anxiety, and when feeling down.

Enroll in your free membership through Heidelberg University and start feeling the benefits today. Sign up HERE using your Heidelberg email address.

Interested in some extra guidance? Watch this Launch webinar to learn all about the Headspace approach to meditation and mindfulness, and tips for using the app.

A big shout-out to the Human Resources Offices -- Margaret Rudolph and Allyson George -- for proposing this idea to John Sharp, associate director of counseling, and for providing resources toward providing the Headspace app for everyone.
