Joan McConnell to give organ recital

Joan McConnell, adjunct instructor of organ and music theory, will perform a recital, themed “Variety is the Spice,” at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, at Trinity United Church of Christ in Tiffin.

Joan’s program explores how composers use a variation technique to create highly original musical works. She will perform compositions by Sweelinck, Bach, Barber, Langlais, Franck and Alain.

The concert is free and open to the public. All are welcome.
