Due to an additional winter weather alert for tomorrow (Wednesday), Heidelberg University will suspend in-person classes until 11 am. Some faculty may offer classes remotely, so be looking for communication from your faculty. Campus offices will open at 11 am.

Speaking their way to success

McCartney Betz and Katie Bauman represented Heidelberg's Speech Team at their first-ever online tournament hosted by BGSU recently. This synchronous tournament included over 40 teams from 18 states. It was one of the largest tournaments in which the team has ever participated -- in person or online.

Katie brought home a first place with her spectacular Rhetorical Criticism Speech on the Wall of Moms protest in Portland, Oregon. Congratulations to them both for hanging in there with both tough technology issues and tough competition!
