Speech Team kicks off season

Kevin Scrudders, Justin Mourguet and Hannah Petitti at the Speech Team's first tournament this year.

Heidelberg's Speech Team competed at the Ohio Forensic Association's Fall tournament, held at John Carroll University this past weekend. This year's team continues Heidelberg's strong tradition of succeeding in the arena of competitive forensics. Individual winners include Hannah Petitti, who placed first in Rhetorical Criticism and fourth in Extemporaneous Speaking. Justin Mourguet placed third in Extemporaneous Speaking and Kevin Scrudders placed fourth in Informative Speaking.
